SUSE has been developed to teach young people entrepreneurial skills to combat youth unemployment. This is done by activating intrinsic motivation, critical thinking and voluntary participation. With this, young people and youth workers focus on entrepreneurial elements in future employment. Young people become part of the social community again. SUSE bridg closes the gap between business and youth and focuses on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). SUSE inspires youth workers to use digital skills within their teaching methods. There will be a manual available for youthworkers.
In addition, a practical is being developed, for participating young people, focused on social entrepreneurship, the importance of Sustainable Development Goals and the development of a business model.
Finally, a handbook on pitching and the organization of a pitching competition is part of the project.
SUSE strives for the following result:
- Reconnect young people with peers and the local community through social media
- Motivating young people to return to high-quality education
- Building a stronger network among the target groups
- Increasing the use of digital tools to inform young people about the opportunities of entrepreneurship related to the SDGs.
- Local awareness of the project ensures greater involvement of local stakeholders.
