DIFME

Digital Internationalisation and Financial Literacy Skills for micro entrepreneurs

The DIFME project seeks to improve the digital skills and financial skills of entrepreneurs. It will do so by developing an online platform in which course material will be posted. These course materials will be developed based on an analysis of the needs of entrepreneurs and the entrepreneurship programs offered by Higher Education Institutions in the EU (and beyond) it will identify the fundamental competencies required in the two disciplines and the gaps in existing provision. The platform and other learning materials will be available through the SME HUB. The SME Hub as well as the online platform will be an easy to use environment that integrates easy and effective access to learning fundamental concepts for entrepreneurship.

The project has a number of objectives. As previously mentioned, its main objectives is to develop the digital and financial skills of entrepreneurs.  Other objectives include fostering cooperation between entrepreneurs and higher education institutions and the creation of dissemination events to raise awareness and reaching stakeholders across Europe.

The project will be concluded with a memorandum of cooperation to further develop a joint qualification program with EU qualifications.
